Seven Alone

There is the true story, made into the movie titled “Seven Alone” which is about an early American pioneering family. In 1843 the parents of seven children died while traveling from Missouri to the Willamette Valley (same as where the Old Believers settled) in Oregon. This left all the children alone in the wilderness. The point is that even orphaned youngsters managed to survive without any modern conveniences, facing all the difficulties imaginable. It is just one of many examples of what people can do. If they can do this so can any of us. Do not be fooled into thinking that abandoning the wicked society around us is impossible. It is remarkable what is possible if we force ourselves. The family movie was made in 1975 and is 80 minutes in duration.
